Ibrahim allegedly defrauded one Chief Ogwu Onoja (SAN) by offering to assist him in the payment of fees and processing of Certificate of Occupancy in respect of Mighty Star Academy.<br />The defendant was allegedly entrusted with the total sum of N12,102,824.00 (twelve million, one hundred and two thousand, eight hundred and twenty four naira) to process the document with the assurance that it will be ready in three months. The accused person took the money and has been keeping the victim’s hope hanging for over three and a half years.</span><a name="more"></a><span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif;"><br /><br />The accused pleaded not guilty when the charge was read to him. In view of his plea, counsel to the EFCC, Msuur Denga asked the court to fix a date for trial to commence.<br /><br />Responding, the defence counsel, Princley Uchechukwu, through an oral application, urged the court to admit the accused to bail adding that, he would not do anything to frustrate his trial. There was nothing like a suicide bomber. They torture and drug unsuspecting captives and made them carriers of the explosives which they detonated among people”.<br /><br />Sheikh Zakzaky further alleged that perpetrators of Kano bomb attack were the same people, who seven years ago, in broad daylight, attacked us and killed two people, attacked the Ashura procession, killed people in Potiskum and killed 34 people during Quds Day procession in Zaria in 2014.</span>

The Nigerian Army will get N17,468,992,640; Nigerian Airforce, N8,141,434,760; Nigerian Army outstanding balance from 2015 and second quarter, N4,348,438,112.<br /><br />The approval of the Senate was sequel to the report of the Senator Danjuma Goje-led Committee on Appropriations on the 2015 Supplementary Appropriation Bill.<br /><br />Earlier, the senators broke into an executive session for one hour as part of moves to discuss the appropriation bill and give the President a soft landing by passing the budget and as a follow up to last Thursday’s dinner the Senators were with the President where collaboration and synergy among the Executive and Legislature were emphasized.<br /><br /><br /><br /><i><b>Vanguard</b></i></span></div>
