It is common knowledge that Dino Melaye and the Governor of Kogi State, Yahya Bello, aren't best of friends. He shared the photos and wrote;<br />

Press Release</span></span><span style="background-color: #f6f7f9; color: #1d2129; font-family: "helvetica" , "arial" , sans-serif; font-size: 13px;"><span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /><br /><span style="font-family: inherit;">* Avoids state govt-sponsored violence </span><br /><br /><span style="font-family: inherit;">Senator representing Kogi West, Senator Dino Melaye, today made a triumphant entry to Kogi State to witness the 2017 edition of the annual Kabba Day celebrations.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family: inherit;">Melaye equally stole the show at the prestigious event attended by prominent sons and daughters of Okun land and meant to showcase the rich cultural heritage of Kabba people.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family: inherit;">The lawmaker was hailed by supporters and admirers on arrival at the Kabba township stadium venue of the event before he delivered a goodwill message to the admiration of his constituents and guests alike present.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family: inherit;">Meanwhile, trouble started when Senator Melaye, who was about leaving the venue on his own volition, was accosted by hired thugs led by the member representing Ajaokuta local government in the State House of Assembly, Abdullahi Bello.</span></span></span><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Hon. Mathew Kolawole, could not come to the venue at the same time with Melaye.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family: inherit;">The thugs thereafter threw sachets of water at the convoy of Senator Melaye on his way of the stadium in order to vent their anger on behalf of Bello.
