Toyin Aimakhu changes her title from Mrs to Miss after removing husband’s name from her page

Nollywood actress, Toyin Aimakhu got married to her beau, Tinsel actor Adeniyi Johnson in 2013, but 2015 has not been a good year for their marriage as they have been dogged by separation rumours. Unfortunately, new events indicate that the actors have split up yet again – and this time, it might be for good. On her Instagram page, the Yoruba actress who formerly described herself as Mrs. Aimakhu-Johnson has just made some drastic changes. Not only did she remove her husband’s name from her page, she also deleted all his numerous pictures from her account on the photo-sharing app.

Furthermore, Toyin went on to declare in a recent post that she is now “Miss Aimakhu”. The couple tied the knot in July, 2013 and celebrated their 2-year wedding anniversary with lengthy love messages on their individual Instagram accounts.

“It has been two spectacular years with my Rib and I bless the Lord everyday for sending me such a good, patient, loving and good hearted man. Marriage is a lot of work and commitment, it isn’t easy but you are doing your best to continue to make it work and I pray that the good Lord give us grace to celebrate many more years together. I love you my husband, God knew exactly what He was doing when He sent you to me and may God continue to give you all that makes a man a real man.. Thanks to you all for your support,love and prayers during the good times and the time of challenges. God bless us. Happy wedding Anniversary Okomi,” Toyin wrote.

Though there were break up rumours at the beginning of the year, this seems to be a confirmation that the embattled thespians have decided to throw in the towel. Nothing lasts forever, apparently.
