Great Big Sister: Demi Lovato Fights for Her Younger Sister Against Cyber-Bullies

Madison de la Garza, Demi Lovato's little sister, recently sat down with Seventeenmagazine to talk about what life is really like when one of your siblings is world-famous. It sounds like Demi takes her big sister responsibilities very seriously, or at least, she doesn't stand for anyone bullying her sister. Madison told Seventeen that last year, she was the target of cyber-bullying after she posted a Vine of herself cooking in the kitchen. Madison, who has scoliosis, says she received "tons of negative comments" about the Vine, with people calling her a "hunchback" and saying other horrible things to her.

"Demi freaked and direct-messaged people to yell at them, and she tweeted at her followers to stand up for me," Madison said. "Sometimes I wish she wouldn't give people attention — I've learned not to — but when people hate on me, she can't really hold back. She's strong and she's a free spirit, and that's what I love about her."
